Security Deposit
Where applicable, a security deposit may be required from the local sponsor upon approval of the application. The security deposit is not required from the applicant, unless otherwise stated. The amount of security deposit can be seen in the table below:

Exemption from the requirement to furnish a security deposit: Malaysians/ Brunei nationals; Holders of valid Dependant's Pass, long term social visit pass, and work pass; Children of Singapore Citizens / Permanent Residents; Foreign students who study in kindergartens registered with MOE / childcare centres licensed by MCYS; Foreign students who attend a full-time course at an approved private education organisation that is awarded Singapore Quality Class for Private Education Organisation, that is, SQC(PEO) by SPRING, Singapore; and Foreign students who pursue a full-time university degree (Graduate/Post-Graduate) programme at an approved private education organisation.

Foreign System Schools
Basic Requirement
To apply for a Student's Pass, applicant must first be accepted by a Foreign System School to pursue an approved full-time course.
Submission of Application
The Student's Pass application must be submitted at least two months from the course commencement date. The completed forms together with supporting documents are to be submitted with queue tickets obtainable at:
