All fees must be paid in pounds sterling, which may be paid either by a credit card recognised by Mastercard International or by the Visa group OR by banker's draft, cheque or postal order, made payable to 'The University of London' and crossed 'a/c payee'.

Other costs
Besides the fees payable to the University, you should also budget for:

textbooks (approximately £80-£150 per year)

if you are taking exams outside London you will have to pay an additional fee to your local examination centre (this fee will vary).

 

Entrance requirements

Academic
All applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
  • be at least 17 years of age at the time of registration
  • EITHER passes in two subjects at GCE 'A' level and passes at grade C or above in three further subjects at GCSE or GCE 'O' level
  • OR three subjects at GCE 'A' level and one further subject at GCSE or GCE 'O' level (at not less than grade C)
  • OR two subjects at GCE 'A' level and two further subjects at 'AS' level
  • AND demonstrate a level of competence in Mathematics at least equivalent to a pass at GCSE/GCE 'O' level, at not less than grade C
  • AND have passed GCSE/GCE 'O' level English language at Grade C or above or, within the last five years, to have passed at the required standard a test of proficiency in English that is recognised by the University of London.
