To develop a firm understanding of the principles and practices of the business environment.
To equip participants with effective communication skills and prepare them for higher-level education.
The course comprises 5 modules of study, conducted on evening basis. The programme adopts a modular system totaling 150 contact hours. Classes meet for 1 - 3 times per week. The entire course can be completed within a minimum duration of 6.5 months. The participant can choose to undertake the course at his/her own pace within a maximum time span of 3 years.
Applicants must possess ONE of the following entrance requirements:
Participants who wish to advance to the Diploma level must have demonstrated proficiency in English (EL1) and Mathematics equivalent to GCE 'O' level standard. Failing which they are required to sit for the following entrance examinations:
Students without C6 pass in English (EL1) as First Language or its equivalent are required: -
1) To score a minimum of band 6 in IELTS conducted by the British Council
OR
2) To score 213 points (computer-based) or 550 points (paper-based) in TOEFL
Students without C6 pass in Elementary Mathematics will be required to take the Mathematics Entrance test set by Brookes University Truro (UK) at BBS
